Havnegadeboksen: Mobile info container for the Municipality of Randers

In conjunction with the “The City by the Water” project located in the Municipality of Randers, DC-Supply delivered a custom built container serving as a showroom.

The mobile info container is named “Havnegadeboksen”, and is located at Dronningekajen on the harbour front in Randers. Here, its main function is as a point for dissemination of information to all interested citizens, as well as enabling dialog and communication between anybody interested in the project.

DC-Supply produced and delivered this custom built solution, basing it on a 20 ft container with one glass side consisting completely of windows and a center double door. The container also includes a rooftop terrace with maintenance-free decking. From the terrace there is a magnificent view of the harbour. Inside, the container walls are cladded with a plywood surface, adding a raw, uniform look to the background, perfect for displaying the municipality’s decorations including information material, posters, etc.

All interior decoration in the container, along with the garden theme on the top terrace, was carried out by the Municipality of Randers. Furthermore, the container also includes built-in LED spots, flat screen TV, and has its own 4G internet connection.

The container is open to the public every Friday from 13.00 – 17.00hrs. And will remain so until the autumn holiday (week 42). During opening hours, you can meet an employee from the Municipality of Randers, and talk about the project “The City by the Water” as well as the influence of climate changes on the Municipality of Randers and how solutions could be implemented.
