Glass exhibition container for “Flodbyen Randers”
Randers Municipality has previously received an info container from DC-Supply put to use as a citizen information stall for the project “Flodbyen Randers”. This info container, since been dubbed “Havnegade Boksen, has now been joined by a new glass exhibition display container housing a 3D-model of the city’s large-scale urban development project called “Flodbyen Randers”.
The exhibition container design is based on a 20-foot container. All sides have been replaced with large glass sections and it comes with a fitted glass double door section at one end. All glass elements are laminated safety glass, providing the glass exhibition container with protection against both weather and wind as well as breakage. Additionally, the exhibition container is painted in the custom colour “Randers blue”, thus matching it’s info container sibling “Havnegade Boksen”.
Inside the exhibition container the ceiling is fully insulated and comes with plywood cladding. 10 LED spots have been installed to evenly illuminate the 3D city model. The lights are controlled by an Astro clock – therefore only switching on when needed. Power is supplied by a solar cell solution with a battery pack, enabling the exhibition container to be offgrid.
